What a holiday. There were the usual mixed blessings from family and some wonderful food at Thanksgiving, but the #Utes lost and that bummed me out. I was depressed by the greed and avarice of the shoppers at some WalMarts across the country. If you want to know what is wrong with America, just read about the horrors of WalMart, I think that company is the anti-Christ. I'm just feeling a little down about the whole greed thing on Christmas and it was emphasized recently by people close to me....at least, they used to be close.
Look for the battle for health care to dominate the news again this coming year. It is going to be decided by our Supreme Court and now you will see the beginnings of the rule of the Judges. Why some want to trust this issue to corporations who only want to make a profit, rather than elected officials we can vote out if we don't like them is beyond me.
So you don't go go away completely depressed by this blog post, I have a wonderful gift to you, courtesy of my friend Johnny Reed and his band, South Shore Road. Hopefully I will be in a better mood tonight and if so I will re-post something in a light vein.
