The Rise of the Newt

I had a horrible dream recently that a disgraced 1990s politician was making a big political comeback.  When I woke up I realized this is a waking nightmare in America and further "wacky-fication" of the once proud Republican party.  This horrible dream come true is leading GOP candidate Newt Gingrich.  The very same Gingrich who was driven by his OWN party from the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Newt is back and nastier than ever, flip-flopping on issues and double talking even as he puts down other Rep. Presidential Candidates.

Newt is even blowing the "dog whistle" ads stirring up racial divide with his comments on putting poor children to work as janitors in their own schools even while ousting those who make their livings and support their families as janitors, which is in itself a blatant attack on union labor.

I worried about Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann as Presidential material because they are whack-a-doos. I fear Newt Gingrich as a leader because his is hateful and mean as well as immoral.  What happened to the party of Reagan?  What happened to the high moral priorities of Conservative values from intellectuals like William Buckley?

The Republican nominee is going to have to rise from the muck of the "Right Wing Nut Jobs" now pulling that party impossibly right.  Their radical ignorance ironically may hand Barack Obama his second term as President.  Obama is rooting for Newt, why do you think that might be?
The Great and Terrible Newt

Peace,
