A funny thing happened on the way to the inevitable. Mitt Romney, the "lock" for GOP Presidential candidate lost to someone who is a). broke, b) un-googlable and c). scary ideologically. Rick Santorum is basically more concerned if you slip something over the end of your Willy than what deregulating Wall Street did to America. Santorum just trounced Mitt Romney in three states and put Newt Gingrich in deep political jeopardy.
Mitt Romney is still being viewed as a tin eared cold fish for making foolish remarks when speaking off script, but believe it or not, his Mormon faith is still a real issue with many voters in America. More disturbing, at least to the faithful in Utah, is the fact the the growth of Mormonism is widely reported (even in the Deseret News) as on a bit of a decline. The Salt Lake Tribune cites a exodus from the LDS Church even as they seek to "redefine" some of their traditional teachings.
Look form Romney to regroup as the Republican primary race heads to Arizona, a stronghold for many of the LDS faith. Look for that, and for Romney to now start spending many of his millions of dollars at he attacks Santorum like a rampant Google search.
Peace,
@Mike57buck
